Our comprehensive exam is free, with no obligations or upfront costs.  At Joffe Medi·Center you will never feel pressured.  We perform a variety of special tests designed to evaluate your candidacy. Many prospective clients are impressed by the ease, elegance and sophistication of the process, which includes advanced wavefront diagnostics. We firmly believe that careful, meticulous evaluations contribute to great results.   Please plan on spending 60 to 90 minutes with us to perform your testing and meet with our doctors to review the results, discuss your options, and have all your questions addressed.  

All contact lenses can cause molding of the cornea and will affect the measurements that are the basis of surgical planning. If you are a contact lens wearer, you will be asked to remove your lenses for at least 3 days prior to your visit in order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the examination. 

Our comprehensive evaluation requires that the pupils be dilated with eye drops. This enables us to examine and accurately measure the eye. The drops that are used are longer-lasting than what you may be accustomed to from past visits to the eye doctor. We recommend that you bring a pair of dark sunglasses with you or we will provide you with a pair.
